Where Kids Come to Life Outdoors

An overnight camp for ages 7 to 15 on Chodikee Lake.

A summer your child will talk about all year

Camp Chodikee is a residential overnight camp where children between the ages of 7 and 15 spend two or four weeks living outdoors, learning on the water, building real friendships, and discovering what they are capable of when screens are set aside and the lake is right there. Our campus sits on more than 400 wooded acres along the shore of Chodikee Lake. Every morning starts with a swim and every evening ends around a campfire. In between, the day belongs to your camper.

Small cabins. Real counselors. Genuine care.

Cabin groups of ten campers share one counselor and one junior counselor from the first day to the last. Our staff are carefully selected college students and young professionals who return summer after summer because they love this work. Camper-to-staff ratios stay below five-to-one for all waterfront activities. Our waterfront director holds American Canoe Association and US Sailing certifications and has led waterfront programs for over a decade.

What we believe

Every child belongs

Community is built from the first morning. No child sits on the sidelines here.

Time outdoors changes kids

We protect long, unstructured hours in nature. It does things for children that classrooms cannot.

Safety is culture

Certified staff, a nurse on site 24 hours a day, and ratios that give every child real attention.
